I absolutely love being around children, whether I am babysitting or spending time with my own family. You will usually find me with all the kids during our family gatherings, playing games, singing songs, most importantly having fun! I have a lot of energy and a great imagination, which usually attracts children to me! On top of my personal experience with children I have working in more structured circumstances, I was a camp counselor for 2 years in high school, taking care of many children at once, anywhere from 6- 12 years old. Shortly after high school I started teaching my own gymnastics classes at my uncle's gymnastic center and have been a "drop in" coach ever since. My mom introduced me to taking care of children and teaching at a very young age, she herself, being a nanny and pre-school teacher. I have picked up quite a bit of experience over Read more the years! I am very attentive and can multi task well, even in high stress situations. I rarely feel like I need to resort to discipline (more re direction) but, I believe it is very important to be consistent and to take instruction from you, as parents, on how you discipline your children. I do find the "3 strikes your out" method to work on most occasions. It's important to me to treat your children or animals with the same care that you would. I would love to attend school more often, so going back to babysitting and pet sitting seems like the best option for me right now. Thank you for your interest!

Lexi started caring for my son part time when he was 3 months old. We moved when he was 15 months and I wish we could have taken her with us. She was with use for a year and we loved her. I highly recommend her! I always felt confident and comfortable leaving my son with her. She is caring, responsible, and involved.

Lexi came to my house on short notice to entertain and watch my 2 year old son while my husband and I cleaned up around the house from our recent remodel and ran errands. Lexi came a few minutes early and Prince took to her immediately. She took him to the park to play and even offered to take the dog along. When they came back she made him lunch and they had a little picnic in the living room. After lunch, they colored, drew pictures, read books and played. We left to run errands and when we came he had had a nap a they were playing again. Prince didn't want her to leave and tried to leave with her. When the door closed behind her he cried and ran to the window to watch her. Lexi stayed for just over 6 hours. She was very professional and very friendly and she was such a big help. I would never have been able to get what I got done if she hadn't been there. We'll definitely be calling her back in the future when we're in need. Thank you Lexi!!!!
