And so they are. Karen is a very talkative and warm person. She says children are her people, more so than adults. Our son Finn (8 months) can only agree. He lights up when he sees her and she has done a wonderful job looking after him, and her experience, confidence and comfort looking after someone of his age were evident from the first meeting. We highly recommend Karen to anyone with small children

Karen is a warm, caring person and a better sitter than we ever could have hoped for. While it takes our son a little while to warm up to new people (or those he hasn’t seen for a while), he lights up the moment he sees Karen walk in the door. Karen is especially nurturing and patient with children and is amazing with our son 16 month old son. She began watching him when he was 4 months old, at which time he was very prone to spitting up (significantly more than the average baby). Karen was great in dealing with the issue. She didn’t make it seem like a problem at all, even when she had to change his outfit four or five times in just one afternoon!!! She was also great in dealing with some sleeping issues we had early on and was willing to rock our son to sleep or use her own techniques to get him down for naps. Karen has a great connection with children. She has tons of energy and is able to keep our son entertained for hours with games, learning, music and outdoor time. She also likes to keep busy during nap time and does her best to clean up (including our own dishes in the sink)!!! And, if she has time, she will also put together picture collages and/or video montages of our little boy that are absolutely amazing!!! It is also important to share that Karen is incredibly trustworthy and reliable. She will always do her best to make herself available for your family, even if it means moving her own schedule around. We are blessed to have found such an incredible sitter and thankful to have Karen in our lives. If you have any questions about Karen, please feel free to contact me at (619) 847-5061.

Karen was an engaging and caring babysitter for four months before our daughter began daycare. She carefully followed a schedule we defined for feeding and napping. Outside of that, she took our daughter to the park (introduced her to the swings!), for walks around the neighborhood, and out to play in the yard. At home, she engaged our daughter with music, dancing, and laughter. Overall, Karen was wonderful for our daughter and a integral part of our daily lives. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking babysitting or nanny care.

Karen was the answer to my prayers. I needed a nanny pretty regularly during a transitional period when my daughter was out of school. I've tried a few and had mixed results, until Karen came along. She was very patient with my 5-year old, and kept her entertained and busy. It was a huge relief for me to be able to go to work and know that my kid was out getting exercise and having a good time instead of sitting cooped up in the house or being spoiled rotten. Every day I came home my daughter was in great spirits and I could tell she had a great day. Highly recommended.

Karen babysat for my 10 month old son while I was at work. She was wonderful! She took him out and about, and sent my adorable pictures along the way. If we lived closer, I'd love to have Karen watch him everyday.

Karen was great! She showed up right on time, immediately engaged with both of my kids and I was able to leave for a night out without a single worry. Will definitely use Karen again and highly recommend!

I strongly recommend Karen. She has sat for our 23 month old son a few times and she was excellent. She has a lot of energy and is really fun. We were in temporary housing and had very few toys for our son, but Karen made sure he had a great time. She sang songs and was innovative with creating games with the few things we had around the apartment. She also took him to the park and children's museum and he had a blast. She is a good communicator and took great care of our boy when he was sad.

Karen really helped me out in a pinch. My regular babysitter was away and Karen came for the whole day for my 2 year old and 3.5 year old. Basically I have twins, and Karen has a lot of experience with twins. She took them out for walk and spent the whole day playing with them which is a lot of work! I would happily hire Karen again!

Karen spent the week with me and my nine month old twins. She was kind, thoughtful and super energetic. Karen was on time everyday, stayed later than we had asked and was very flexible. She worked hard when she was with us!

Karen babysat my 2 year old daughter last week so my husband and I could attend an evening event. Karen was fantastic! My daughter took to her right away and Karen kept her entertained allowing us to get ready which was awesome. They played all night and read books - she knew just what to do with my daughter to keep her happy. You can tell right away she's great with kids, a really nice person, and I would have her babysit again for me in a heartbeat!
