In my current employment, I manage the Childcare Center with a child ratio of 1 staff per 10 children. I take care of children as young as 6 months to 12 years old. I have been trained in behavior management, am CPR and First Aid certified and have a very valuable skill set that pertains to children. I ensure a safe, fun, and interactive environment for children while they are using the Kid’s Club facility. Although I have experience in working with multiple children at one time, I believe my skill set could be geared towards a more valuable experience with individual children and their families. While working with children, I instill many important core beliefs and values. I would love to have a consistent flow of balance between the children that I work with. I worked as a consultant and as a host where I gained customer service skills. While working at CBT my skills were used towards maintaining a healthy environment for the customers . As a hostess I coordinated with all restaurant departments to process and prepare food orders and provide customer service. I gained patients and management skills. Prior to starting my official work, I volunteered at a local church, where I would aid in facilitating the pre-school department. This is where I learned to work with infants and learned to provide care for their every needs. As I progressed as I volunteer I became a teachers aid where I would help run lesson plans, daily activities, and scheduling. I have multiple experiences in working with children en and have a passion to help aid them in their growth and development.
