I am a caring, attentive, honest, dependable, and hard working young married Christian man. In March 2013, I married the woman of my dreams, and that December, I graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi with a mechanical engineering degree. I am working for a gas turbine company as a field service representative. I am still in training, so only work during the morning, leaving my afternoons and evenings free. I am really good with kids and a great babysitter. I guess that's because I still love to just play around. I am an outdoorsy person and I love to surf, skate, fish, spearfish, hike, and rock climb. I am also really protective and responsible, but I still know how to let kids have fun. I have about 2 years worth of paid experience as a babysitter. I have babysat probono plenty of times for my neighbors, family, and friends, thus Read more why I put 3 years. I have experience with kids from 3 months to 13+ and am comfortable with all age groups. However, the majority of my experience is with infants and toddlers. I am willing to watch newborns too. I am CPR and First Aid certified through the Red Cross. I can go over flash cards and teach your child their ABC's, 123's, colors, shapes, and basic math. I can also cook and clean. My dad is a restaurant manager and he loves to cook. I learned how to cook by helping him out in kitchen while I was growing up. I can also be a bit of a clean freak. I am a genuinely nice guy, and an amazing sitter. All I need is for you to give me a chance to earn your trust. As far as my experience goes, I babysat for my neighbor on and off in high school. I also lived with my married friends for a while during my sophomore year of college. Their 3-year-old daughter was 1 at the time. I would often end up playing with her and keeping her entertained to give my friends some time to get things done. Basically, they would leave me to babysit her while they were still there. I would read her a book or played dolls with her. I never was too busy to drop what I was doing, and even if I were, I couldn't argue with a 1-year-old who wanted to play and didn't know I had a test the next day. I also babysat for a couple for about 8 months my senior year of college. They had two boys, a 5 yr. old and a 1-year-old, who were always happy to see me.
