I grew up babysitting for family and friends. I often babysat for children in the neighborhood, my little sister, or my nieces. I worked in a mental health facility in the locked residential program for two years. In that time I was working with 11 to 18-year-olds and I was the lead staff member on my shift. It may not sound like it, but this is basically glorified babysitting. After that I was a nanny for two beautiful children from Jan. 2013 - August 2014. Part of my job responsibilities included cleaning daily and doing laundry. On occasion I would run errands, and even prepare dinner (I love cooking). Since then I have been working at a gym and assisting with childcare there. I am an outgoing, silly, and creative individual who loves working with children. As cheesy as it sounds, I love to do arts and crafts with the Read more kids so that you have something to hang up on your fridge. I am very trustworthy and dependable. I just moved to San Diego from Michigan and am looking to start work as soon as possible. I am planning to be in this area until early May. I know this is a short time and most families are looking for long-term but I promise you that you will not be disappointed.
