I have always enjoyed to contribute directly to a child's development throughout the early stages of life. I'm confident that I can have a positive influence on children by helping them to develop good habits that will stick with them as they grow up. As a nanny, I consider myself a team player with parents--being their eyes and ears while they may not be available. One of my biggest motivating factors that helped me choose schooling to become a caregiver was having a young brother that was born when I was 18 years old. Since my parents had to work, my role in the family was to take care of him with all his needs for 7-years. I felt satisfied of my work and proud to have helped my parents raise my little brother to become a respectful and independent child. My schooling in Italy comes from specialization in Music and then taking on a Professional Certificate in Child Development at the Instituto Cortivo di Padova in Bari, Italy 2011. Since then I worked at a Child Care institute in Acquaviva delle Fonti where I took care of children from 3-months to 3 years of age. Later on I became a private nanny for hire to specific families for 4 years. Although my english is not perfect, I'm rapidly learning and enjoying the challenge of being in a new culture. My goal is to provide practical assistance to families while being able to provide my personal wealth of culture and cuisine.
