I started out my journey working with children as a college student providing after school care for the YMCA. I worked my way into the Aquatics department, taught swim lessons, and eventually became the Director of the department. I love working with children and have so much fun teaching them new skills and watching them gain confidence through learning and playing. In my free time I have volunteered teaching children with learning challenges how to read. I also work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, which gives me extensive knowledge of the ways typical children develop. My greatest joy was being able to nanny an amazing infant from birth-6mo old while her parents transitioned to a new home up north. I learned so much from that experience and would love to work with that age again if the opportunity ever arose. I'm a caring, nurturing person who enjoys providing for Read more others. I'd love to chat with you to see if I'd be a good fit for your little one!
