I'm a 36 year-old, licensed therapist who recently left a job with the Navy, (I hold an LCSW-C; you may verify this at https://mdbnc.dhmh.md.gov/bsweverification/default.aspx). I enjoyed my job immensely, but I really miss being around children, so I've taken a break and am providing childcare to supplement my income. I've worked with kids in various forms for over 20 years, including teaching preschool for 1.5 years when I lived in Maryland, working with families and children in a mental health capacity, staffing a group home for girls, and general all-ages babysitting. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and for me, safety always comes first. I don't drink, don't smoke, and have my own car. I am a certified yoga instructor, and hold a SECRET level security clearance with the federal government. I'm a certified Reiki practitioner and am comfortable prepping and serving healthy delicious meals. I love art projects, playing Read more outside, and exploring nature. I'm a big fan of getting kids in the fresh air and active! My childcare philosophy is heavy on the love and nurturing with a healthy dose of clear firm and respectful boundaries. I am clean, responsible, and will always leave your home in the same condition (or better!) than when I got there. I look forward to meeting you and your little ones!
