I have worked with children my entire working career. I started at Los Gatos Christian School working during the lunch and after school programs in charge of ensuring the safety, education, and fun of the children there. I worked there for 2 years gaining experience and the trust of the workers and parents. From this I have done babysitting for many of the parents of the children from the school. My next job with children was nannying 2 different families from LGCS over the summer for the past 3 years staright. This past year I moved to San Diego for school at SDSU where I am studying to become an elementary school teacher. During this time I got a job at the SDSU children's center where employees must be either a child and family development major or liberal studies major. I worked with the 2 and 3 year old children Read more where I did the daily duties needed for the children such as: planning and executing daily activities, changing diapers, feeding meals, and all other daily tasks required for the children. My love for children has been for my whole life, I helped in my mothers preschool class for years at a young age because I have always had exceptional connections with the kids. I started babysitting at 15 years old and through all of my jobs working with kids I decided that I want to become an elementary school teacher. I came to this conclusion because I have seen all demographics of children who need to be loved. I want to be a positive male role model that unfortunately many children do not have. I want to instill a love for knowledge and schooling for children at a young age and help the kids develop into adults who will want to do the same.
