I worked as a teacher's assistance for about 3 years and during this time I looked after 3 children before and after school. I walked them to and from school. I played with them and took them on adventures. I made small meals and helped with potty training. As a teacher's assistance I had a lot of responsibilities. I created fun new ways to inspire imagination and invoke creativity. I organized snack time, play time, arts and crafts, nap time, diaper changing and provided a loving and caring environment. I believe in positive reinforcement and redirecting. This was not a job for me. Being a nanny or baby sitter is something I enjoy doing. I also have experience with pre teens. I helped with homework and made light snacks. I also took them to after school activities. When there was time I helped parents with some housekeeping.
