I spent a year and a half in Australia as a nanny for a wonderful family with two children aged 2 and 6 when I started. I was a live in nanny and had responsibility of the children Monday through Friday from morning until the working parents returned home in the evening upon which I would help prepare and serve dinner. While receiving my Bachelor's Degree I worked at Villa Esperanza which cares for children with developmental disabilities such as autism and down syndrome. I brought arts and crafts and books to engage and teach the children that spent their days there. I also taught art classes at the National Ability Center for children ages 4-5 and 7-8. I created project idea's that would excite the children of appropriate age level while still teaching them something important. I love being a part of a child's life and learning all about Read more their unique personalities and traits especially as they grow. I would love to meet your family and answer any and all questions you may have for me as a caretaker.
