Hi! My name is Lauren Bourke. I'm from Howard County Maryland but will be relocating to San Diego in May 2017. I am looking for a full time nanny job with a family that is active, good-natured and out-going! My hope is to begin working at the beginning of June 2017. I began caring for children when I was 9 years old as a mother's helper and then switched to babysitting when I was 13 years old. I then went on to work as a teacher's assistant in a Montessori school for a year, and I worked primarily in the 2-3 year old classroom. For the past 2 years I have worked as a babysitter/nanny for a multitude of families. The youngest child I have watched was 2 months old and the oldest is 11 years old. I have ample experience with infants/toddlers and have worked for a family with Read more twins as well. What I find most important in this line of work is a relationship with the children and the parents. My hope is to be the extra set of hands parents so desperately need by providing childcare, house maintenance and food preparation. I am more than willing to be flexible and I pride myself on being reliable.
