Hi there! A little about me— I was 10 and then 13 when my half-siblings were born. I helped raise them! My love for childcare began officially when I was Babysitter Training certified by the RedCross at age 12. Numerous summers I've spent working with children ages 5-16 as a certified sailing instructor at SDYC. I specialized three summers in a row with the youngest group our 'Sea Urchins' ages 5-8 and with the intermediates ages 9-14. I have interacted closely with children at the Early Childhood Learning Center on campus at PLNU where I took courses like Human Development and Motor Learning/Motor Development. I’ve also had many years of infant watching experience. I am currently CPR and First-Aid Certified. And will soon have my Applied Health Science B.S., from PLNU!
