Being a nanny isn't 'just a paycheck' to me. It's not a side job or something I'm doing while I am waiting for my 'real job' to happen. I have the most important job in the world. I pinch myself because I am one of the lucky ones. I look forward to going to work everyday. I feel so grateful for the opportunity and privilege to care for a precious child. Caring for your baby is not something I will take lightly or for granted. Babies gravitate to me naturally. I believe in living by the golden rule. I am responsible, easy going and funny. I am honest, caring, nurturing and devoted. I promise to give your child the same kindness, patience, love, care and respect that I give my own children. I will never be unkind. If the need ever arises, I will stop a speeding bullet, train or Read more anything else to protect your child. I am RIE certified. I teach baby sign language to both children and parents. You will be blown away by how much your baby can communicate with his/her hands before they can actually say the words. It's a really beautiful thing to see. I will respect your wishes about childcare. I love to start caring for a newborn baby and then ideally making a commitment to stay with the family long term.

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
