I studied at BYU, graduating April 2013 with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology, in addition to all medical pre-requisite courses. Working at Intermountain Healthcare and several doctor's offices as a medical and surgical assistant, I learned a lot about healthcare and caregiving. The possibility of a graduate education in medicine still has potential for me in a few years, but I miss the fulfillment and joy that children bring into my life. While in college, I dated a software executive with 3 children and bonded with them greatly over our 2 year relationship. Things between us did not work out, but I love his children like they were my own and learned a lot from my interactions with them and their nanny, including the special fulfillment that is brought to my life through children. I have also had experience caring for nieces and nephews and the joy that children Read more bring is unparalleled. I am able to act beyond myself and despite whatever is going on in life, can be happy and energetic. These experiences have given me a unique perspective into the expectations of a nanny and caregiver and I hope to find a family with whom I click with and can stay with for several years. While I was raised LDS and am a BYU alumni, I am no longer practicing Mormonism, but do attend non-denominational Christian church on Sunday. I am a moral person and always intend to do the right thing. I will have a glass of wine on occasion, but have no interest or experience with any drugs. I dont have a criminal record of any kind and also have a clean driving record: I have never even gotten a speeding ticket. I am no chef, but I can prepare basic meals. I am well traveled and am happy to travel with a family that requires that. I was fortunate to travel in my youth and it is a great way to learn about the world: cultures, food, history, art, and etiquette. I love to exercise and stay fit. I grew up dancing ballet from ages 10 to 17. I was a cheerleader in high school. I am very musical and have played the piano my whole life, as well as sang in many choirs and been the lead in several musicals. I grew up in Bozeman, Montana and therefore love to ski in the winter months and wake surf in the summer. I took swimming lessons for 8 years and am very comfortable in the water. My favorite place on earth is on a lake in a wakeboarding boat. Recently, I have started yoga and crossfit and really enjoy the physical challenges these activities offer. Feel free to contact me!
