Meet Bente

  • Comfortable with pets

I come from a large family, I've been around babies, toddlers, and pre-teens my whole life. I spend most of my summers doing volunteer work. I have experience caring for children/adults with special needs, as well as senior citizens. In addition to seeking all this experience, I was born into a family with a chronically ill mother. She has lupus, heart failure, arthritis, thyroid failure, memory loss, chronic pain, and nerve damage. I've been taking care of her since I was able to. Nurturing is second nature to me. But that isn't the only area I have interest in. I have dreams of being a professional artist who works on commission. I play the guitar, sing, practice yoga, and practice my art everyday. I spent five years living 10 minutes outside of New York City, and fell in love with the culture. The city life style is my home away Read more from home. I flourish in high energy environments around creative people.
