I am a 22 year old student living in the Sunset District of San Francisco. I attend San Francisco City College and study business. I am a very creative person - I love to design jewelry, make collages, and do lots of other arts and crafts! I am reliable, flexible, energetic, and caring. I come from a family full of artists and teachers. My mother owns a preschool in Sacramento where I volunteered from age 12-18. I spent my summer vacations throughout my middle school and high school years nannying for local families in my neighborhood. I also did a lot of evening and weekend babysitting jobs. When I graduated high school, I became a full time nanny. I have always loved children and still have great relationships with every family I have worked for. I consider myself to be very lucky to have a job where I get to Read more play, laugh, get creative, and explore with children! I have loved being able to watch them grow and guide them on their way to becoming young adults. Some of the activities I enjoy doing with children include playing outdoors, reading, making arts and crafts, singing, dancing, playing games, and of course, teaching them new things! I am not a huge fan of electronics - I try to keep screen time to a minimum. I have experience working with children of all ages and abilities. I have worked with newborns, premature babies, multiples, kids with developmental disabilities, as well as children with severe food allergies. I have a clean driving record and own a Toyota Highlander. I am comfortable driving children as well as parents. I am willing to run errands for the families I work with. I am comfortable with meal prep and light housekeeping, as well. I would say that I am comfortable with pets, but that is an understatement! I adore animals almost as much as I adore children. I am also an experienced pet-sitter/house-sitter. I have taken a few early childhood development classes and am CPR and First Aid certified. I have extra references available upon request. I have experience with nannying up to three children at once. I just left my job in Sacramento after working with a family for almost four years. It was hard to leave the children as they became a big part of my life, however I am very much looking forward to meeting new families in San Francisco!
