Hi! My name is Justine. I am a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, a member of the ivy league, where I majored in Psychology and focused on early childhood development/language acquisition. I love kids, and have had lots of types of experience working with them. I am currently enrolled in the Teaching Certification program at San Francisco State University to obtain my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I have worked in a kindergarten classroom in the SFUSD for the past academic year as a student teacher. Within the last two years, I have also worked as a teacher's aid in a kindergarten classroom, as well as a private nanny, providing share care for children from 4 months of age to 6 years old. In addition, I have spent the past four years as a teacher at at a daycare in Noe Valley, as well as a private tutor for school-aged Read more students. In the past, I have worked as a babysitter for children as old as 12 years old, and have experience caring for children with special needs. In the past five years, I have also worked as a teaching assistant at a headstart and preschool program, where I worked both one-on-one with children as well as leading a 30 student class. At this program, I was also responsible for overseeing recess for over 40 students, as well as lunch and breakfast. These experiences have been the most rewarding and have really shown me what I am passionate about, which is childcare. I am patient, caring, energetic, active, and fun-loving, and know that childcare can sometimes be dirty work! I love arts, crafts, and generally just playing and learning. I am flexible and willing to work with you to create the best atmosphere for your family.
