Hello! I am a professional, enthusiastic nanny and preschool teacher with lots of experience and passion for kids. My goal at work is to provide a nurturing environment for healthy growth and development. I have been in the education field for 5 years, and the more I do the job, the more I love it. I am originally from Brazil, and came to the US to have the most enjoyable nanny job in MD. The kid was an amazing 17 month girl whom I helped to raise until she was 4. At the same time, I officially worked in her preschool as a teacher assistant of 17 kids from 2 to 3-years-old. About two years ago I moved to Modesto, CA, where I had the pleasure to nanny four siblings (2, 4, and twins 6) full time. We learned a lot from each other while having tons of fun together. Read more After that, I worked as a Family Assistant/Nanny for a large, busy, and amazing family in Hillsborough, CA. I provided child care for their 4 kids, from 4 to 11 years old. I also assisted the mother with anything she needed around the house, as errands, grocery shopping, laundry, cooking, scheduling appointments, taking kids to the doctor, and much more. Before I came to the US, I spent almost a year in Canada doing language exchange as well as volunteering work in the classrooms of an Elementary school. By helping students out, I could closely experience the Elementary graders routine, which made me to fall in love with the field much more. I have also babysat a lot of kids, occasionally, from infants to teens. I have been around kids during my whole life, and I have learned how important it is for them to have a loving and nurturing model around. For this reason, I put a lot effort into my work, so excellence comes out of it allowing me to be a good influence for kids. My genuine love for children lets me to easily get along with them, and also makes my work much easier and enjoyable. Let me know when you have time for an interview to learn more about me. Thank you! All the best, Karina
