Hello! my name is Veronica and I’ve loved working with kids since I was an early pre-teen. I pride myself on encouraging a child’s independent and positive behavior. More about myself : At 18, I started a full time nanny position with three children ages 8, 11 & 14. My full time duties had me working week days, weekends and overnights. I'd prepare all meals including dinner as well as driving up and down and all around to appointments/activities/school. We'd pack snacks and sun screen and hang by the pool during summer; and put on costume shows after homework was done during the school year. My fonest memeories would be storytime before bed, receiving the best cuddles; and, teaching them how to bake a cake for the first time while watching their faces as they ate with joy! After three years of bonding with the kids ( & watching them Read more grow into teens who no longer urged for my assistance) I transferred to a family with a 9 month old & a 6y/o. Working with a baby can be very nerve racking for some but I found myself always smiling with these two as we loved our levee walks with the stroller, bike and dog. Throughout my nanny career I've enjoyed being a part of the child's development, getting them out into nature and I having them use their imaginations. I come from a long line of mental health professionals so I’ve learned how to have calm yet structured behavior around kiddos. My versatile personality fits in with just about anyone. I will try my best to help relive the everyday natural stressors of a loving family. Hopefully igniting a strong , lasting relationship. Thank you for taking the time to read about me, I hope you find your ideal candidate!
