Children have such inquisitive minds! I strive to teach them something new with each visit. Sometimes this may be a new recipe, a craft project, building a fort, learning about animals, or even a new word in French or Danish! For the past 5-1/2 years I have worked primarily with one family. I am still continuing with them (8-1/2-10 hours per day 2 days per week during the summer, and Mon-Thurs. after school during the 2017-2018 school year and beyond). However, I am available for some PART TIME, or OCCASIONAL work, as well as some weekends. Previously I have worked with teens, inspiring them to volunteer in our local community, as well as teaching leadership skills. I an a mature & responsible non-smoker, with an excellent driving record. I have been taught CPR (for both people & pets), and know basic first air as well.

Karen has been extremely helpful with watching our child and our pets. Her level of care is very thorough and we plan on hiring Karen again in the future. It has been a privilege working with Karen.

Karen has babysat for us and also done some pet sitting. She is absolutely wonderful! She is always so loving with our son and she gets down on the floor and plays with the dogs. We absolutely love her and would recommend her to anyone! - Jo L.

Karen was excellent! She was available on short notice and was able to come feed our dogs around the same time we feed them normally. She was very professional and she interacted with the dogs on their level. Towards the end of our trip, she called to give an update on what the dogs had done while we were gone. We were very happy with her services and we will definitely use her again!
