Meet Steve

  • Speaks Spanish

Hello! My name is Steve. My experience in childcare is extensive. I have been an infant/child caretaker for over 7 years and am currently working at a school for children with autism. At the school I help children from ages k-12. We teach them self regulating strategies during times of extreme distress. Depending on the age and severity we do everything from math and reading to tactics for socializing in public or with their peers. I live in Santa Clara and can care for your child anytime sat/sun. mon-fri I can sit from 6pm-9pm. I can help with tutoring, homework and light housework. I am also bilingual (spanish) so I can teach them Spanish if you like. I probably love kids so much because I have three younger brothers and watching over them all the time was so much fun I started doing it for family friends and then friends Read more of family friends and it just went from there. I love all my kids they are such cute bundles of joy. The sense of accomplishment I get when I see one of my kids start to crawl walk or talk is just amazing I love everything about care giving. I do aspire to be a social worker in the future and help more kids. Then after that I'd like to retire and become a foster parent. I feel like that would be the ideal life for me.
