I am a 28 year old mother to my 5 year old daughter. I believe that being a mom gives you the most experience in how to care for children. Prior to being a mother I worked as an infant/toddler teacher and a preschool teacher at Kindercare for one year. I then worked for the YMCA for one year as a physical education coach for various elementary schools and worked with kids from Kindergarten through the fifth grade. I also simultaneously worked for the local Jr. High as an after school counselor. I was a live in nanny for one year as well. I have my AA in social sciences and my 12 ECE units in child care from Pierce College. Some units include infant and toddler care. I drive a reliable 2011 Toyota Rav4 and have a perfect driving record. I also recently became a girl scout leader for Read more my daughter's troop and have passed all background checks to get that position.
