Hi there! I am looking to babysit or nanny in the evenings, overnights, and/or weekends. I am definitely open to on-call occasional babysitting as well. I live in Santa Monica and have a car and a clean driving record. I am very responsible, reliable, and hardworking. I graduated with double majors in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management, and a minor in Spanish. I was in Honors and on the Dean's List. I worked for Camp Adventure Youth Services childcare and provided care to youth and teens of U.S. military families. I was a Teen Specialist/Camp Counselor in Germany, Summer 2011. I programmed all day camp activities for 45 youth, ages 12 to 18 with 2 other counselors. I was a Child Development Center Intern in Italy, Winter 2011. I provided care to infants and children ages newborn to 5. I was a Camp Counselor in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Fall 2011. I Read more programmed all day camp activities for 30 children ages 4 to 5 with 2 other counselors. I individually supervised 10 children at a time on field trips to the zoo, park, beach, etc. I was selected to direct a 10-week camp and manage several counselors based on performance and leadership. I participated in 150 hours of training and completed an additional year's worth of college credit for Child Development coursework. I was employed as a Direct Care Professional, providing respite care for mentally and physically disabled children and adults. I volunteer annually for the Special Olympics. I volunteer frequently at a high school for physically and mentally disabled students, where both of my parents are teachers. I have 5 years of weekly volunteer experience as a Community Based Mentor with a teen girl and as a School Buddy with a 10-year-old boy. I've grown up with many foster children in my family's home, most of whom had severe behavioral issues or developmental disabilities. I have an adult sister with autism and a seizure disorder. I have experience supporting her through frequent, violent seizures.
