I grew up in a very large family and my house was always filled with people; cousins, next door neighbors, uncles, fifth cousins, nieces, you name it! There were always at least 10 of us running around causing trouble and making memories. Growing up, I was immediately drawn towards being the “baby-helper”, then once my family recognized how naturally it came to me I became the go-to babysitter, all the while my adoration for children growing. Now, as an adult I have decided to study psychology and English with focus on child development, which is something I plan to base my future career on. Having the opportunity to work with children while finishing school not only gives me an incomparable hands-on learning experience, but also is the most rewarding job I could ask for. I truly believe that the minds of young ones are going to be the ones to Read more change the world and with the right amount of love and positive role models surrounding them, each child will do something extraordinary.
