My babysitting days started when I was around 12 years old (that is when I started getting paid to babysit). I come from a family of six and being the second oldest, I was a live-in babysitter for my mom. I have a brother with special needs so I grew up learning how to deal with difficult situations. I worked at the YMCA where I learned a variety of tools caring for multiple children of all ages. I have experience with children from ages 3 weeks to 16, overnight care and working with ADHD, autism, and other behavioral difficulties. I've always been passionate about caring for children which led me to study child development in school. I also spent time living in a retirement home taking care of my great grandmother until she passed. It was an amazing experience for me and furthered my love caring for others. I am Read more infant/child CPR certified and In the last few years I have become an INA member and furthered my child development education. I am also Trustline certified and have completed Stop The Silence training.
