I am a credentialed teacher for grades K-6 and I have my Masters in Elementary Education. I have been working with children as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, camp counselor, children’s driver, teacher’s aid, and substitute teacher for the past 16 years. I had a double concentration as an undergraduate getting my Teaching Credential in Children’s Literacy and Children’s Art. I have experience driving children, picking them up from school and taking them to their various daily activities. I do not tend to be a “stick kids in front of the T.V.” sitter. I sometimes bring over activities for them to do, usually arts based, playing board games, or inventing new games, based on the ages and interests of the children. I am very responsible and experienced as a babysitter/nanny/tutor, but am unfortunately unemployed because of the layoffs in Education. I would like to add that I have been CPR, First-Aid, Read more and Lifeguard certified, but I let it expire because I spent some time teaching in India. I will happily give you references on a person to person basis because I do not feel it is right to give someone else’s information on a website for anyone to have access to.
