My name is Rachel, I am a 23 year old student recent college graduate. I just moved back home to LA from New York City where I was studying fashion design and communications. Now I am pursuing an acting career and also helping my mother with her handbag business. I am very energetic and responsible. I have been the neighborhood babysitter since I was about 12 years old and have experience with all aged children from newborns to pre-teens. I also have experience doing volunteer work at The Friendship Circle which is a non-profit organization that addresses the challenges facing the families of children with special needs by pairing local teenagers with children for weekly “Friends at Home”visits. While I was in high school, I became involved with the community through afterschool and weekend activities and helped administer fundraising events. Additionally I volunteered at Read more Taglit Birthright Israel during which I guided approximately 30 developmentally disabled participants ages 18-24, for a ten-day trip throughout Israel. During the trip I fostered engagement of all participants by facilitating dialogue and relating relevant interests.
