After one year I’m just finishing up a nanny position with a baby boy in Tujunga at the end of October. I’ve been with him since he was 2 months old. I adore him! Luckily I will see him after this position ends. His mother is the neice of a family I nannied for 13 years. I’m still very close with the family and I see the 2 children once a week. I have 15 years nanny experience in Los Angeles. I am a Child Development major with over 1, 000 academic hours from L. A. Valley College & I’m a certified One-on-One Para-Professional Shadow. My ideal situation is one in which the parent sees their nanny as part of the team. My background in child development & photography gives me a special talent in watching and interpreting the child. My main focus as a nanny is keeping the child Read more safe, and then having the honor to describe their world to them. They have questions but are too young to know what to ask. That is where I excel. I watch what interests the child, follow their eyes and what they're drawn to and I allow them to explore their environment with all their senses- but keeping them safe at all times. I’m looking for approximately 30 hours a week give or take an hour. I would love to start at 1030-11am and stay until 5pm. Full references available upon request

Laurie watches my 9-month-old son once a week. She is very sweet and attentive, always takes him for walks and loves to get down on the floor and play with him. He's all smiles when I get home! We are so happy we found her.
