I grew up in Temecula, a small town in southern California where I attended college preparatory schools. I then went on to attend FIDM, Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where I received an Associate of Arts degree in Visual Communications upon graduation in June of 2011. I returned to my hometown to pursue a career in Event Design working with wedding venues throughout the valley. While I loved the artistic aspect my job inspired, something was missing. I began babysitting for a family of two boys ages 1 and 3 on the weekends I wasn't working a wedding and quickly fell in love. They lived on a farm with goats, chickens, and pigs so most days were spent outside playing, learning and caring for the animals. Their older son had some food allergies so I became studious at learning how to make dairy and gluten-free meals that were appealing Read more to a 3-year-old. As their family farm turned into a small family business, they were in need of more consistent child care. Thus began my career as a full-time nanny. I now have almost 10 years of experience caring for infants and toddlers through early school-age children and can honestly say I feel so blessed to call this my career. I was even given the opportunity to travel abroad to Germany where I cared for twin newborn girls, such a wonderfully humbling experience! I most adore witnessing the inevitable milestones and unparalleled curiosities each stage of young life brings. While it is always bittersweet leaving a family, I am so excited about the new opportunities and adventures I know my next family will bring.
