My name is Keirstin Lockhart and I am 20 years old looking for a full time nanny position starting in May. I am currently a full-time in home nanny to a 9 month old little boy and absolutely love it. Unfortunately they are moving out of state in May due to military orders. I have been working for them since November of last year. Straight out of high school I was hired at Petco in the grooming salon as a bather and quickly learned dog grooming. I also have been horseback riding for about 10 years and I have my own horse that is very special to me. I love ALL animals and would be delighted if some of my duties involved the animals as well. I have gone back to school (online classes) to get my degree in Early Childhood Education. At first this was because I aspired to Read more teach preschool or Kindergarten,and I would still be delighted to do that. However as I have started nannying I have found a love and a passion for it. For roughly 5 years I taught preschool at the church my family attends and worked with kids from newborn to 8 years old, have always been the go to babysitter for my parents friends and family. I also worked for 5 years as an assistant to a physical therapist who specializes in hippotherapy, which is therapeutic horseback riding. I have been there from January of 2010 up until September of this year when she moved and took her business to Arizona. I love seeing children grow into their own personalities and characters and giving them a solid foundation for learning. I would love to play interactive games, read, and find fun activities both indoors and out to promote healthy development and also to have a little fun! I am experienced with preparing meals and cooking for small children. I would also be happy to clean and do housekeeping, laundry, run errands etc. since you are a working parent I want to make things as easy as possible and so the time you do get to spend at home with your children can be quality time well spent.
