After spending the last 8 years in the corporate world, I am a young professional who is looking to change career paths and dive into meaningful work- childcare. My past experience includes babysitting during my teenage years for five different families. During college, I served as a nanny to one little girl, from the time she was 18 months- 3 years old. My duties during that time included care during the week and occasional weekend care when needed. In addition to caring for the child, I did light chores and housework and some administrative work for the family. I love children, and helped to raise my much younger siblings (now 10 and 12) and think that interactive and social integration is critical to a child's development.
