What can I say?... I love kids. Children are my passion and nothing brings me more joy than to see them grow and bloom right before my eyes. In fact, my favorite insect is a butterfly. Why? -- because before you see the beauty of the butterfly, you have to see the struggle of the cocoon. It's the same with children; before you see their maturity and growth you have the privilege of seeing their struggle, cry, scream and frustration just waiting for their bright smiles and celebration on the other side. With all this said, I have worked with children the majority of my life-- beginning in church as a Sunday School teacher. I then went on to earn a Bachelors in Child Development (Dec 2004), working in child care centers along the way. In 2009, I moved from the classroom to the home. I became a nanny and Read more cared for a 3 month old. That 3 month old is now 5 years of age. He is smart, athletic and an all-around great little guy. It's my hope that maybe I had a little something to do with that. I have worked with kids in varies settings and all ages and I must say each group has their joys and challenges. I guess what they say is true: children will be children but for me I wouldn't have it any other way. In closing, I am CPR trained and clean.
