Hello, my name is Miranda and I am a 21 year old, full-time college student, who lives in Valley Springs, CA. I spent a year attending the University of Portland but have transferred to Sac City College for financial reasons. I am currently a chemistry major on a premed track in hopes of one day being a pediatrician. I take classes Monday/Wednesday afternoon and early evening as well as classes Tuesday and Thursday mornings, but I am available any other day of the week including weekends. I would love to work something out that fits with my schedule and yours. I love children and was raised in a family dedicated to helping children; my mother and older sister both work for Head Start and their experience has rubbed off on me. I have interned for multiple years at an infant toddler center and preschool. I have also spent time helping Read more out in elementary school classrooms. I also took a year long course that focused on early childhood education and spent most of my time in the classroom helping children and learning protocol. I have spent the last two summers as a full time nanny for two children (4 and 10) and had an absolutely wonderful time doing something I am passionate about. Along with that, I have a plethora of babysitting experience and spend a good amount of time with my niece and nephew (age 3 and 7). I enjoy doing arts and crafts as well as spending time with kids outside, particularly swimming, going to the park and riding bikes. I am Child CPR certified. I have my own car and have a clean driving record. I am able to keep the house tidy and cook meals.
