Hello! I am a musician, yogi, soccer player, and aficionado of learning and social justice. When I was in high school and my twin cousins who are autistic were little I would often babysit for them. I also babysat a bit around my neighborhood during that time. After graduating from San Francisco State University 3 years ago with a BA in Music, I was a Kindergarten Teacher's Assistant, in which I led various music workshops and one also one on one lessons. The following year I was a piano and guitar teacher at Music Land School in Foster City where I taught kids from the ages of 3-10. Upon moving back to LA in January I was a soccer coach for kids ages 2-3 years old for the spring season. I currently freelance teaching, getting commissioned for compositions, and production/sound engineering. Throughout High School my band was signed to Kiefer Read more Sutherland’s (star of Fox Network’s show ‘24’) record label IronWorks, a subsidiary label of Universal Music Group. We sold out venues throughout Hollywood regularly (The Roxy, The Key Club, Whiskey A-Go Go…), toured the Southern U.S. and Las Vegas with the hugely successful and iconic rock band, Stone Temple Pilots. We filmed music videos, including one produced by Dustin Hoffman’s son, Jake Hoffman, and recorded and released the album “Drama Junkie Queen” (2009), which released at major record stores such as Best Buy and Amoeba Music. At San Francisco State University I was a member of numerous ensembles and bands. I studied under several sound engineers and producers, and my bands at the time, one of which was managed by Fred Barnes (son of the man who named “The Who”), were often written up by the SF Weekly and other local blogs as the ‘Best Band’ in SF. We sold out shows consistently (venues such as, The Great American Music Hall, The Independent, the Chapel…), breaking records for ‘walk-ins’. I recorded and produced various records on my own, and helped promote shows as well, bridging HipHop and Rock&Roll communities together in the bay area. Whilst at SFSU I was the head soccer referee in the intramural department. I worked as an intern and receptionist at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco. I now intern at Rising Lotus Yoga and also work occasionally at the Hollywood Bowl
