CHILDCARE STYLE: I am a strong believer in providing an uplifting and positive atmosphere for a child/ren, instilling creativity in all aspects of what the child and myself become engaged in. I think it is important to allow children to feel free from pressures, while still guiding them in the right direction. That being said, I always encourage the children I work with to express themselves and explore the world around them. In turn, I always respect the wishes of the family, and never overstep my bounds when it comes to the activities that the child and I engage in, but do attempt to infuse education (and the environment) into all experiences as I have a strong love for learning as well as nature. This has been the most rewarding experience of my life, and I can honestly say that this child has taught me just as much about life as I have been able to teach her. I adore being able to bring another positive aspect to a child whose life is so precious, and feel this way about all children whose lives I am able to touch. I attended college for my Bachelor''s Degree in Psychology so that I can ultimately work with children and adolescents in a behavioral therapy setting. Through my education and my own personal experiences, I have learned that exemplifying kindness and compassion are the most important aspects to fostering those qualities in a child who is an instrumental individual in creating much-needed positive changes for the future of our world.
