I am currently a supervisor for a food program at a top tier preschool in North County. The position has afforded me the privilege of participating with students ages infant-12 years old in hands on activities, involving them in our food and garden program, as well as floating in the center in a variety of positions from infant care to supervising school aged students. Additionally, I have provided private care for a variety of families and ages of children. My forte is interactive play, encouraging imaginative thinking, facilitating art project and hands-on exploration of the world around them. I currently hold a BA in Communication from SDSU, along with 12 prerequisite units for the teacher credentialing program. My personal interests include music (guitar playing), reading, animal husbandry and nature exploration. These hobbies are something I enjoy sharing with children, as I feel fostering a passion for academia, music and nature Read more make for well-rounded and curious individuals.
