I grew up with six siblings and started volunteering with children in 2009 with the fourth grade class at North Coast Church because my little sister begged me to be a leader in her class. I fell in love with it and ended up staying as a volunteer with fourth grade children for the next five years. I then started a job as a swim instructor teaching children how to swim for two years. I was also a nanny for a family who I taught how to swim for about six months until they relocated to a different state. I am CPR and AED certified and have taken two semesters of child development classes.
