I recently graduated from UCLA with a major in Psychology. I also graduated with a minor in Applied Developmental Psychology, where I completed 3 academic quarters of coursework and 258 hours in a childcare center developing an environment that promotes the well-being of children, as well as obtain a site supervisor-level Child Development Permit. I have always loved working with children. Especially after receiving my degree in Psychology/Applied Developmental Psychology, I enjoy using my knowledge and first hand experience in child development, to help children thrive. I have been working with children for the past six years, where I worked at Jumpstart, UCLA Early Care and Education, UCLA Center for Autism and Research, nanny, and McRory Pediatric Services, Inc., and it is always such a pleasure to be able to see children develop! I have nannied for a 7 week old infant during my last quarter at UCLA. During this Read more time I changed her diaper, fed her, played with her, swaddled her and put her to sleep, read and sang songs, took her on walks in her stroller, etc. I am CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. I have received comprehensive training and coursework to obtain a site supervisor-level Child Development Permit in the state of California (in progress). I have also received intensive training and professional development in early childhood theory and practice, language development, leadership skills, and communication with families.
