I live in Whittier, Ca and I am a Senior Theater Arts Major/Minor in Philosophy at Azusa Pacific University. A few summers back, I nannied for a family in Friendly Hills located in Whittier, CA. I cared for their two children for about 8-12 hours a day. I would get there at 7:00am and leave anytime between 6 and 7 pm, once the parents had gotten home. I would bathe and feed the children. I handled all issues in a calm, and positive way. I don't believe it is my job to discipline someone else's child, but that does not mean that they are allowed to hit their brother or sister without consequence. The two children were ages 6 and 3. The little boy was 6 and the little girl was 3. Since they had a pool, i oftentimes would take them outside and swim with them and make sure that Read more all the proper measures were taken to ensure the children's safety. Beginning with Sun block, all the way to making sure they had their favorite floaties and goggles. I additionally did the same thing for a different family with different children who of course had different needs, which I met. There were two girls ages 13 and 8. I love them both. I am also currently finishing up the school year working at a private elementary school as an Instructional Aide. I work mostly with primary grades (kinder through second grade), but I have experience with grade 3-8th as well and love the children of all ages. I am also involved at my church, and have experience helping out with little babies between the ages of 8-18 months and older. I truly do love children, and think that they are the most precious things on Earth.
