1. Teaching, To meet objectives in working with children with various disabilities I developed skills to break into each child’s world and used these skills daily. Besides my work with the children, I was repeatedly called on to train new staff both during my work as a developmental therapist and as a caregiver. 2. Care, When working with the elderly and individuals with disabilities I developed relationships not only with the clients, but with their families as well. I’ve been called by the family of a former resident to house sit and have been entrusted by another family to watch their child with disabilities over a three-day period. 3. Fun, Outgoing attitude Both my mother and best friends have years of experience working with children, as teachers and as nannies. We often share fun craft, snacking and general kid-related ideas. I like to keep routines but mix up activities. I Read more enjoy being around children and that attitude reflects in the day-to-day interactions.
