My name is Alexandrea, everyone calls me Lexi. I have two kids of my own; my step son who is 8 and my daughter who is almost 5. I love getting to know the kids and their passions. I tend to be very creative and fun. I like good manners and I can be kind of a stickler when it comes to cleanliness. I love to play outside like at parks, going for walks, soccer! I love to journal and read as well. I like teaching; I love watching children grasp an idea, the look they get when they accomplish something they've been working at is priceless. In 2011, I interned at Rolling Hills Elementary with the second grade class. I learned a lot about how to tutor kids and help them understand without doing the work for them! Some previous work history: Parsons family- I had been a nanny Read more for two years consistently with this family (four kids, ages 1-9) mornings I made sure kids were ready for school and during the day I worked with the youngest and my daughter doing fun activities and working on speech and social development, during the time I worked we found out the youngest is autistic and I learned a lot working with therapist to help her. After school I helped the boys with home work and did snacks. During the day I took on household chores like laundry and dishes. Like I said I'm kind of a cleaner ( The mother got a job out of state so sadly we had to part.) Meyer Family- Currently I nanny with a family on Friday and Saturdays, all day. (2 Kids 8,5) I take on light chores, keeping kitchen clean and the kids messes. I help with homework. I pick up and drop off school and other extra curricular activities.
