A Master's Student of English at CU Boulder during the school year, I am looking for a nanny position during the summer months, especially with children 5 and above. I am currently a tutor for children ages 5-18 at YES Education (K-8) and College Drive (High School) in the Boulder County area. In my tutoring work, I aspire to help students with their intellectual development but also to connect with them as people and, hopefully, be a caring male role model in their lives. I would describe my style as a caregiver as easy-going, earnest, and invested. I prefer to connect with children by being highly approachable and sincerely interested what they have to say, as opposed to oppressively asserting my adult presence at all times. My summers as an undergraduate were spent running a summer wiffleball league for all ages in rural West Tennessee and taking care of my younger brother, Seth, who is nine years my junior.
