After a semester spent as an assistant teacher at the Woodland Montessori, I tried to continue to have fun interactions with children outside of a classroom setting. I went on to train aspiring athletes ages 9-12 at a sports camp, and had a ton of fun being active with the kids. The Montessori taught me patience and logistical skills, but I learned how to be a much stronger role model and caretaker enjoying the time spent having fun with kids in a less professional setting.
