We hired Kelsie to watch out four children, ages 5, 3, 2 ,and 3 months. This was our first experience having someone other than a relative watch our children. We're also pretty protective of how we allow into our home and into our children's lives. Right when she started, it became apparent that she was a wonderful fit for our family. We have never felt uneasy or uncertain of her ability to care for our kids. Being that our kids are all young and close in age, we know that they're busy and can be difficult to manage. Kelsie has exceeded any expectation we had of her. Not only does she successfully manage playtime, meal times, and nap times, but she does it extremely well. Our kids always rave about her when we get home, and each morning they ask if they get to see her that day. Kelsie engages with the kids, plays at their level and interacts with them, playing the things they love most. She has successfully cared for our youngest (who is not a great sleeper), without skipping a beat. She always has a smile on her face and she genuinely enjoys our kids. We encourage very limited screen time with our kids, and she has followed this request. She also respects what we've asked regarding discipline. There have been no issues or trouble. We're happy to report that she really is more than we ever imagined we could find in a babysitter. One more thing to add - when Kelsie started watching our kids, we made it clear that we did not expect her to do any cleaning, other than cleaning up dishes after lunch. She has made a point to always help with laundry, even our laundry, and folded and put the kids' clothes away. She's also washed our kids' sheets, cleaned out the fridge - she really does not like to sit still, and this shows in the top notch care our kids receive and in the condition our home is in when we come home from work.
