I have nannied 2 elementary school boys for the past 4 summers. I also started babysitting about 7 years before that. I worked at a church sporadically during high school doing childcare for infants and toddlers, and teaching at sports camps. I love working with children and watching them learn about the world. I think that kids should learn to read well, and spend time outdoors instead of in front of electronics.
