Hello! I am an energetic and flexible college graduate with international experience. I have worked as a nanny/babysitter, swim&, ski instructor, tutor, respite care, court advocate, and hospital volunteer in pediatric &neonatal units. I have experience working with babies as young as 6 days up to 13 year olds. I love playing outside, swimming, doing crafts, reading books, and playing games before popping in a movie. I'm always willing to help out with chores or errands that help a household function, and know that navigating chaos is a big portion of working with any family. I have cpr/first aid training, a good driving record and a clean drug test along with plenty of references I would love to put you in contact with. Through college I was a for an Australian family of 6 living in Fort Collins. I served as a shuttle driver for lessons and appointments, tutor, and Read more also took full time charge of the kids so the parents could travel. Generally from 2-10 day trips. Before the Bromells, I was living in Australia where I was an Au Pair for two different families. The Toomey's had two 8 year old twins both with developmental and physical handicaps, as well as a quadriplegic father. I worked on sensory development and nonverbal communication development with Abbey ( cerebral palsy and blind); and with comprehension skills, hand eye coordination, and classroom behavior with Lucy (ADHD, vision impaired, Autistic, bipolar) The Sarsons, also an Aussie family, hosted me to be more of a mothers helper for 4 months as they settled into managing a new business, new born baby, 2 year old and 6 year old. During the days I provided care for the infant and the 2 year old. At night I helped with chores, errands, and entertainment. Before my trip to Australia I also worked as a Nanny for 3 local and families on a more casual basis. I also have experience working with kids in classrooms &communities in Nepal and Ecuador. Through my experiences I have learned that proper care for all children regardless of age or ability, requires patience, creativity, &encouragement.
