I would like to gain experience working with children. Currently, I am an AmeriCorps/HealthCorps member in Fort Lupton and get to work as a school outreach volunteer which entails health education and activities within elementary through middle school locations. Through my service, I also serve within a local community health center and local hospital providing proper education for patients and helping them reach their health goals. I have also worked with children within community health settings providing 5210 education and proper referrals. I have my BA in psychology and have always found promoting healthy lifestyles and education to children very enjoyable.
