My 5 years of being a nanny and 7 years of babysitting experience have resulted in a strong understanding of children. My skill set is extensive and well balanced. In addition, I am very loving and kind. I am determined and I love finding new things for the kiddos to do. I am also very fond of the little moments. I love watching a kids grow and seeing the little things that come from them. The unique "attitudes" and the characteristic quirks that develop along with them. I am motivated, task-oriented, and efficient. While working with my first nanny family of two now toddler aged children, I was responsible for everything in their day to day life from the time they were newborns. Things like waking them up and getting the oldest ready for school. Changing diapers and feeding them. Nap times and creating activities to keep them occupied. Taking Read more care of them while sick, giving them medicine as they require. Helping with potty training as needed. And of course just showing them love and caring for them. With my second nanny family, I have been in charge of two toddlers again. I am in charge of their every day lives. No wake up calls but everything after breakfast is up to me. I get the oldest ready for school and am in charge of her pick ups. I take both of them to the classes that they need to be at. And while the oldest is at school the youngest and I enjoy places like the zoo and the nature and science museum. She's currently fascinated with the dragon in the mythical creatures exhibit. I am in charge of nap times and snacks for the day. I usually do dinner time too. And of course play times in between. I was also in charge of potty training the 2 year old, we did the 3 day method and it worked wonders! We create new projects and activities daily. And love making arts and crafts for mom and dad. I also have done date night babysitting or just babysitting when mommy and daddy had to go to work. Sometimes that would mean park trips or bedtime stories depending on times of day. I had a side babysitting job where at one point I had 4 children and 3 of them were in diapers, the 4th was in the process of potty training. My children have ranged from newborn, meaning I was a couple baby's very first babysitter, to about early teenage years. So age is never an issue. I believe my experiences and track record make me an excellent fit for this opportunity and I hope you sincerely consider me to be the one to watch over your children.
