Let's see, where to start! I'm fully background checked and have a complete vehicle report. The only reason my background check badge doesn't show up in my profile is because I have a speeding ticket (a misdemeanor!) from Smith County in Texas in 2014 and am therefore ineligible. That's it, I promise! I am more than happy to send you my background check details if requested! I also have great references, but I don't feel comfortable listing their phone numbers on SitterCity. I am also happy to share my references with you as well! Now that the technical stuff is out of the way: onto my experience! I have experience mostly with infants (including infant twins) , toddlers, and working with multiple children ages five through 10. My background is non-profit - both professionally and as a volunteer - specifically working with child-centric organizations (CASA/Child Advocates, Boys & Girls Clubs Read more of Metro Denver). I work with these organizations because of their missions to help youth thrive, developing into successful adults. I've shifted out of the professional field and over to child care full-time, because over the years, I've realized it's important for me to see a direct impact on the child(ren) and family I'm serving. I love to see change happen, to foster a safe and loving environment, and I love working with people in general. So childcare just seemed natural. I'm willing to learn and can ensure that whatever your needs, I will work my hardest to make sure you're taken care of! My nannying style: child safety is also my absolute #1 priority. Patience, flexibility, a calm demeanor in times of distress, and the ability to be fun and light-hearted in all other times are other characteristics which I take very seriously. I love working with kids who are not used to being on tablets or computers all the time and who love to use their imaginations and to learn. I deeply value child development and helping to meet milestones. I also have two fur babies of my own, so I love pets!
